Life as a Highlander

Since 1999, our team of researchers, strategists, designers, developers, business consultants, and implementers has helped organizations launch and implement hundreds of digital products—turning their biggest uncertainties into opportunities for growth.

Team Benefits

  • Health Insurance

    We offer three health insurance plans through Blue Cross Blue Shield. Highlanders can also choose from FSA and HSA plans. Highland pays 66% of health insurance premiums.

  • Dental & Vision Insurance

    Highland provides dental and vision benefits through Principal Financial Group and pays half of dental and vision insurance premiums.

  • 401k Retirement Savings Plan

    Highland offers a 401k and Roth 401k via Betterment.

  • Paid Time Off

    Full time Highlanders receive between 3 and 5 weeks per year of paid time off.

  • Sick Time

    Highland provides unlimited sick time.

  • Company Holidays

    We observe 9 paid company holidays.

  • Learning Stipend

    Highland provides up to $1,000 each year in professional development funds to use for education, events, and seminars.

  • Professional Development Time Off

    Highlanders receive 5 days of Professional Development Time Off (PDTO) each year, to be used to set aside time for learning and development.

  • Life & Disability Insurance

    Highland offers company paid life insurance as well as short and long-term disability insurance

  • New Parent Leave

    4 weeks’ leave for any new parent, 12 weeks’ leave for birth mothers—all at 100% pay.

  • Dependent Care FSA

    A dependent care flexible spending account covers qualified daycare expenses for children younger than age 13 and adult dependents who are incapable of caring for themselves.
